The Athletic Club of the Sandhills is proud to be the part of the rich tradition of soccer here in Moore County. AC Sandhills Soccer provides a wide range of programs, from fun clinics suitable for first time soccer players to advanced development opportunities for expert level young athletes.
AC Sandhills is a member of the North Carolina Youth Soccer Association, travels and competes in the Classic Soccer program and facilitates the Recreation Soccer League for Aberdeen, Southern Pines, Pinehurst, Whispering Pines, Carthage, and Vass.

Since its inception in 1986, AC Sandhills Soccer has become an established, recognized and respected program in the state of North Carolina, regionally and nationally. Our goal and focus have been to train and develop players from the ages of 4 to 18 to become more overall and well-rounded soccer players. From our coaching staff to our office staff, ACS is devoted to making soccer the best in the Sandhills Region for years to come.
Currently, our programs range from Mini Kickers (our U4 program), Future Stars, (our U6 program), Recreational League (U7-U19), and Travel or Classic Level teams (U9-U18). We seek to give all players the opportunity to reach their own goals. Whether our players are interested in playing for fun or competitively, ACS is determined to allow that growth through the game and our club.
